The Alfonso T. Yuchengco College of Business was established to cater to the needs of Mindanao for a more technology-oriented business school. Named after the late Amb. Alfonso T. Yuchengco, The ATYCB seeks to live up to the vision and drive of the person who made the Yuchengco Group of Companies what it is today: a megalith in the business world.

By introducing state of the art facilities, blended learning and Outcomes Based Education, the ATYCB focuses on soft skills and a multidisciplinary approach in order to equip the student in today’s dynamic business environment.

  • Accountancy

  • The Bachelor of Science in Accountancy trains future certified accounting and finance professionals. Training students in the mastery of the fundamentals of accounting and finance with emphasis on the use of technology and quantitative tools, the program envisions to produce graduates who are competent, reliable and ethical custodians of the financial health of business entities.

    The program seeks for students to be knowledgeable in accounting and finance and comfortable in the use of technology, forging innovative digital accounting education. To empower our business courses and provide opportunities for the students, Malayan Colleges Mindanao also aims to create a network through linkages in the Yuchengco Group (YGC) of companies and Ayala Corporation.

  • Entrepreneurship

  • The Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship nurtures future innovators and market disruptors through emphasis on building soft skills, real world experiences and multidisciplinary learning. The program seeks to produce graduates who are tech savvy and able to identify and seize opportunities in today’s fast paced technologically driven business world.

    The program seeks to immerse students in the utilization of science and technology in the creation of new businesses and mentor future tycoons.   • Management Accounting

  • The Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting develops future managers and consultants. With emphasis in the mastery of the fundamentals of accounting and finance and blending it with management and leadership skills development, the program envisions to produce graduates who are critical thinkers and problem solvers; able to guide business entities by crafting solutions formulated from hard data, utilizing technology.

    BS Management Accounting encourages students to think quantitatively, interpret financial data, and be proficient in the use of technology. The program offers courses that provide theoretical and technical accounting knowledge and skills, including professional competencies of business and management education and accounting education courses.   • Tourism Management

  • The Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management produces future Tour organizers, Tourism entrepreneurs and Tourism hospitality specialists. With focus on liberal arts combined with business fundamentals and technology training, the program seeks to produce graduates who are equipped with the knowledge of foreign languages, geography and culture with the mastery of business, in order to address the special needs of the tourism and travel industry.

    With the integration of information technology and information systems courses, students will also be equipped with the knowledge on automation and digital processes, including proficiency on software for Global Distribution Systems.
